Applications open for WWCC’s Annual Grants Program

Are you a community organisation, group or individual in the Wagga Wagga Local Government that could do with some extra funding? Wagga Wagga City Council invites community groups to apply for funding through Council’s Annual Grants Program. 

The grants program provides an annual funding opportunity for local community-based groups and applications for 2009 open next Monday 16 March and close at 5pm on Monday 1 June. 

Through the program, Council supports a wide range of services and activities that build community capacity, foster social networks and information exchange, facilitate cooperation and build on existing community strengths.

To assist community groups with their applications and give valuable advice as well as grant writing tips, Council is holding information workshops on the following days:

•    Thursday 2 April 2009 from 6-7pm

•    Tuesday 7 April 2009 from 6-7pm.

Application forms and the Grants Guidelines are available at the workshops, at the Civic Centre’s Customer Service counter and on Council’s website www.wagga.nsw.gov.au
