Probus clubs are designed for retired or semi-retired people with an aim to aid development of acquaintance and social interaction plus the advancement of intellectual and cultural interests".
They are amongst the most rapidly expanding network of clubs in the western world.
Wagga Wagga Sunset Probus is open to both women and men and is the only Probus club in Wagga Wagga that meets in the evenings and has a dinner as part of the proceedings.
Probus clubs are NOT fund raising or community service organisations even though the clubs developed out of Rotary.
They focus on developing social interaction for people who are retired.
They meet the Last Thursday of every month, 6:30 dinner, meeting at 7:15 at the Wagga Wagga RSL club, Dobbs St
The club enjoys Guest speakers, dinners, travel excursions to places that one might not necessarily undertake on your own, mixing with other people who have similar interests
