Pearl City shines again at Wagga RSL CLub!

If you like Asian food you will love Pearl City. My date and I started off with a Peking Duck; 6 scrumptious pancakes with crispy breast and Sang Choy Bau containing succulent leg meat. It was better than I had in Peking and the courteous service was speedy and efficient. This was followed by Spicy Salt and Chilli Fish, which tantalised the tastebuds. There were mounds of rice and noodles with the Mongolian lamb, which was delicious, and like most main courses under $15.  There is a wide selection of Asian dishes which will cater for most tastes and being within the RSL a fully stocked bar.

My colleague and I had some Chinese tea followed by dim sum served in steamers from the passing trolley. The sticky rice came wrapped in lotus leaves and complimented the range of pork and shrimp dumplings with a little sweet chilli sauce. I particularly enjoyed the sharks fin and the BBQ pork bun.

The restaurant has been redecorated and RSL renovations will be finished very soon, watch out for the grand opening. For a quick and inexpensive lunch with an out of the ordinary oriental flavour Pearl City at the RSL is well worth a visit.
