Like every girl I love the opportunity to dress up, the socialising, horse racing and hot it brings everyone together for a fun filled day.

What do you like about the races / Wagga Gold Cup?
Horse racing has always been synonymous with Australian culture. There is nothing quite like a day at the races, particularly in country Australia.
Invariably country horse racing involves long drives, catching up with friends, plenty of beer and champagne, getting dressed up and having a punt on horses you’ve never heard of. Race meetings bring the whole community together like no other sport.
Wagga’s Gold Cup is all of that but on a much bigger scale. Nearly everyone in the city has friends travel and the whole town buzzes all week. I’ve been to races everywhere from Ireland to Randwick, to Melbourne and Carrathool but there is something very special about Wagga’s Gold Cup.
