Regional Education
There are eight secondary and 24 primary schools, private and public, and 25 facilities that cater for children in pre-schools, childcare centres and other flexible childcare services for families. Religious schools are widely represented in primary and secondary education
Because Wagga Wagga is a regional node for education. In the City specialist areas of learning are supported. An example of this is music education. The Riverina Conservatorium of Music provides high quality musical education for people of all ages throughout the Riverina region. The Conservatorium plays an important role in the cultural life of the community, by nurturing awareness, appreciation and achievement in music and the performing arts.
