Willans Hill School for Specific Purposes caters for students aged 4 to 20 who have an intellectual or physical disability in either the moderate or severe range. The school focuses on the individual needs of the students, expressed through individual education plans containing carefully selected and clearly defined educational priorities. Willans Hill's main belief is that students "learn by doing" and it is this aspect which allows staff to focus on what students can do not what they can't. Enrolments  66

Shepherds Park Education and Training Unit is within the Riverina Juvenile Justice Centre located at Wagga Wagga in southern NSW. The school has been in operation since 1985 with students coming from western NSW as well as from the Riverina area. Shepherds Park education and Training Unit is in the third year of a new educational provision whereby the school has an extended school year and on occasion an extended school day. The maximum enrolment is 34 male students aged from 10 to 21 years, all of whom are either on remand awaiting a court appearance or serving a custodial sentence. The length of stay at the Riverina Juvenile Justice Centre may vary from a day to several years.
