The 2008 Riverina Regional Recorder Ensemble will travel to Sydney to Perform at the Opera House.

 
The 2008 Riverina Regional Recorder Ensemble is made up of 108 students from 10 schools in the Riverina: Boree Creek, Cootamundra, Lockhart, Pleasant Hills, Milbrulong, Kooringal, Mangoplah, Tullibigeal, Yerong Creek and Rand.

These students will be traveling to Sydney on the 11th  and 12th of June to perform as part of the Festival of Instrumental Music at the Sydney Opera House.  The Festival of Instrumental Music is a festival run by the NSW Department of Education Arts Unit.  in their performance the students will combine with 600 other recorder players, a full orchestra and stage band, along with 200 string players.
